I am a 52 year old retired educator.

How Did I Get Here?

Now that I’m finally retired, I’ve been reflecting on what made me who I am today–the events in my life that molded me. Some are pretty and some are not. But everything I’ve gone through influenced my decisions and made me ME!

And, Where Am I Going?

I’ve made a deal with myself. As long as I stay busy and continue to learn–I will not seek outside employment! Mindfulness is a skill I learned during my Administrative training, many years ago, and daily I practice it.

This blog is meant to be not only cathartic for me, but to chronicle my journey up to retirement and the one yet to come.
